About the position
In Offshore Logistics we are looking for a quality and detail-oriented Student Worker to join our team. The team consists of three dedicated employees who all contribute to an efficient supply of logistics equipment and material to all Offshore wind turbine projects run by Siemens Gamesa.
The Internal Customer Support team is part of Material Management, placed in the outbound logistics organization in Offshore. Overall, Material Management ensures storage, distribution and maintenance of all the equipment rented out to the various projects. This includes monitoring the availability of items, expediting sources, managing the material and equipment orders as well as optimizing the material flow on an on-going basis.
In this role, you will be contributing to be the best in the industry ensuring end-to-end outbound logistics performance resulting in an optimized impact on the bottom line of the specific projects.
What are my responsibilities?
• Preparing documents, reports and monthly follow-ups
• Updating catalogues and project overviews/forecasts
• Administrative tasks regarding Share Point 2013
• Ad hoc administrative tasks
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• You are enrolled in a higher education, Bachelor or Master level (please write the expected graduation date in your CV)
• You possess strong communication skills
• As a person, you are analytic, outgoing and a quick learner
• You have a structured and organized approach to your tasks and like to work in a team
• You are an advanced user of MS Office and Share Point 2013
• You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing
